People have a wrong notion that unless they happen to be Hollywood celebrities or business tycoons homes in Palos Verdes Peninsula are beyond their reach. Actually, all cities in Palos Verdes offer luxurious yet affordable homes. No matter whether you want to live in Rolling Hills or Rancho Palos Verdes, you can buy a luxurious ocean-view home that doesn't burn a hole in your retirement fund.

There are some truly amazing and breathtaking cliffs along the Peninsula, which is located in the South Bay region of California. Several beautiful horse trails are present thanks to the original owner of the area, a single Spanish settler who owned large ranches. Even if you don't presently count horse riding among your present hobbies, it is easy to learn as the area is filled with riding clubs for beginners.

There are many good shopping areas in the beach cities as well; for example, one top notch shopping locale is the Malaga Cove, located in the western part of Palos Verdes. This area is famous for its architecture which reflects the Renaissance movement which took place in Europe. The shopping area here is quite near many grand estates on the nearby cliffs that look over the ocean.

The biggest community in this area is known as Torrance. The Del Amo Mall is located downtown, and will be familiar to fans of motion pictures. Fine dining prepared in both regional and American styles can easily be located.

The Wayfarer's Chapel is not very well known, but is one of the extremely beautiful attractions that can be found on Palos Verdes. The building is constructed entirely of glass.
